NY times: Israel Says It Shot Down Syrian Aircraft

JERUSALEM — The Israeli military said Tuesday morning that it had shot down a Syrian aircraft that “infiltrated into Israeli airspace,” and that a Patriot air-defense missile had been used to intercept “the aircraft in mid-flight.”
